who was Organist of this Church nearly twenty years, and having fulfilled every relative duty as a good man, died highly esteemed and regretted on the 24th day of October, 1822, in the 41st year of his age.
No. 422. (Now defaced.)—But, to the memory of Mary Foxton, who died Octr. 23rd, 1708; also Michael, son of Jas, Foxton, 1700.
No. 423. Sacred to the memory of Ellen, the wife of Isaac Cook of Bondgate, who died Feby. the 7th, 1805, aged 6 years; also the Revd. Isaac Cook, M.A., son of the above who died the 1st October, 1809, aged 36 years; also to the memory of the first named Isaac Cook of Bondgate, Gentleman, who departed this life the 11th day of October, 1815, in the 86th year of his age.
No. 424. Erected in memory of William Leathly of this Town, who departed this life the 7th Jany., 1825, in the 61st year of his age.
I soon was gone, but not too soon am blest,
God took me hence because he thought it best;
Therefore, dear friends, lament for me no more,
I am not lost but gone awhile before.
Also William, son of the above, who departed this life on the 25th day of May, 1827, in the 37th year of his age.
No. 425. Sacred to the memory of Ann, the beloved wife of John Holdsworth, who died, on the 16th day of Decemr., 1800, aged 55 years.
Thro' numerous conflicts here my soul hath pass'd
But storms are ended and I am arrived at last,
To blissful mansions in the realms of day,
Where sorrow, pain, and tears are fled away;
Thro' Jesus' blood not merits of my own,
I stand approv'd before Jehovah's throne;
My kind and tender husband think on this,
And meet me glorious in the heights of bliss.
John Holdsworth her husband, died 3rd June, 1806, aged 71 years. He served forty years in the army and with distinguish'd credit, was highly esteemed by all who knew him.
No. 426. In memory of Charlotte Robinson, daughter of John and Mary Robinson, who died Jany. 19th, 1809, aged 1 year; also the above John Robinson, who departed this life April the 7th, 1820, aged 65 years.
