No. 268. In memory of Francis Spence of this Town, Gentleman, who departed this life the 13th day of May, 1783, aged 69 years; Elizabeth his wife, daughter of Mr. John Freeman of the Strand, London, died the 17th day of January, 1800, aged 80 years. They had six children, five of whom survived them. Sacred to the memory of Mr. Matthew Watson of Ripon, Currier, whose remains are deposited in the vault, near this place, marked M. W., he departed this life on the 8th day of April, 1829, aged 71 years; also, in memory of Ann Spence, daughter of the above Francis and Elizabeth Spence, who died Septr. 21st, 1834, aged 73 years; and in memory of Mary, widow of the above Matthew Watson and the daughter of Francis and Elizabeth Spence, who died January 7th, 1837, in the 79th year of her age; also, of Henry Spence, Esq., the last survivor of the above named six children, who died January 13th, 1840, aged 86 years.—(This stone lies flat.)

No. 269. Here lieth the body of Ellzabeth, the wife of Christopher Wright of Littlethorpe, who died Feby. the 12th, 1819, aged 80 years. She was a mother to the orphan, a friend, and a virtuous wife.

No. 270. Sacred to the memory of William Lumb, who died May 18th, 1831, aged 53 years; and, of Martha his wife, who died June 17th, 1830, aged 52 years.

No. 271. Sacred to the memory of William Eedson (deposited in a contiguous vault) who departed this life the 29th of Augt., 1821, aged 85 years.

No. 272. Here lieth the body of John Masterman, who died June the 1st, 1773, aged 21.

No. 273. Here lieth the body of Matthew Watson, who died July the 22nd, 1756, æ. 58; also, Elizabeth, his wife, died March the 18th, 1739, æ. 46.

No. 274. Sacred to the memory of Margaret, the wife of Robert Watson, who departed this life the 4th of Feby., 1806, aged 38 years; also, the above named Robert Watson, who departed this life the 7th day of July, 1818, in the 49th year of his age.
