No. 4. Here are interred the remains of Frances, the wife of Willey Edward Carter of this Town, Alderman, who departed this life the 19th March, 1821, aged 65 years; also, of Frances Hardman, late of the city of York, spinster, and aunt to the above Frances Carter, who died the 7th of April, 1811, aged 88 years; also, of Henry Holdsworth Schorley, late of Halifax, who died 6th April, 1816, aged 36 years.
No. 5. In memory of John Atkinson, who died June 15th, 1814, aged 67 years; also, Ann, wife of the above John Atkinson, died Novr. 1st, 1819, aged 82 years; also, Elizabeth Atkinson, their daughter, died August 29th, 1825, aged 55 years.
No. 6. Sacred to the memory of William Cundale, only son of Thomas and Isabella Cundale, who died April 28th, 1815, aged 12 years. He lived beloved and died lamented. The above named Isabella Cundale departed this life 16th of September, 1830, aged 56 years. The grave 8 feet from the face of this stone.
No. 7. Sacred to the memory of John Batty, who departed this life Febry. 17th 1825, aged 82.
No. 8. Sacred to the memory of Elizabeth, James, and Mary Ann, the children of James and Elizabeth Palliser of this Town; Elizabeth and James died in their infancy, A.D. 1811 and 1813, and Mary Ann was taken from the evil to come on the 16th of September, 1831, aged 24 years.
No. 9. Sacred to the memory of Robert Thornton, Esquire, late of the city of York, who departed this life the 18th day of June, 1817, in the 77th year of his age.
No. 10. In memory of Ann Stevens, wife of Mark Stevens, who departed this life on the 8th day of December, 1817, aged 21 years.
No. 11. Sacred to the memory of Edward Greaves, who departed this life the 17th day of April, 1819, aged 69 years.
No. 12. In memory of Ralph Heslop of Ripon, who departed this life the 18th day of February, 1813, aged 75 years.
No. 13. Sacred to the memory of John Rawson, Alderman, and once Mayor of Ripon, he departed this life the 6th of July, 1812, aged 64 years; also, William, his son, who died the 14th of May, 1809, aged 29 years; likewise Sarah, wife of the above John Rawson, who died June the 7th, 1816, aged 69 years.
No. 14. Sacred to the memory of Toby Furness. The other part of the inscription is defaced. The grave is 8 feet from this stone.
