of William Theakstone, Hosier, in this Town, who died the 1st of February, 1793, aged 43 years; also, two sons, who died in their infancy; also, of Jane, the beloved daughter of Fawdington, the son of the above named William and Mary Theakstone, who after great affliction entered into rest the 18th of May, 1827. Her remains were deposited in a vault in the Church-yard of St. Mi- chael's, Toxteth Park, parish of Walton, county of Lancaster. Mortua sed data somno.

No. 60. William, son of Thomas and Elizabeth Lowley, died Jany. 31st , 1818, aged 16 years.

No. 61. At the foot of this stone are deposited the remains of William Garland, third son of Richard Garland of Kingston-upon-Hull, Solicitor, who died on the 24th March, 1821, in the 15th year of his age, and the 3rd month of his pupilage under an eminent surgeon of this Place, and who, in those short periods, deserved and acquired the good will of all his connections.

No. 62. This stone was erected by Samuel and Martha Brookes of the 84th Regiment, in memory of their beloved son Samuel Brookes, who departed this life the 12th day of April, 1811, aged 3 years.

No. 63. Here lies the body of Henry, the son of Richard and Mary Abbott, who died the 31st of March, 1823, aged 1 year and 10 months; also, Richard Abbott, father to the above named Henry Abbott, who died the 12th of Novr., 1823, aged 28 years.

No. 64. To the memory of Faith Sowerby, wife of John Sow- erby of Ripon, who departed this life the 6th day of September, 1785, aged 51 years. She was a most affectionate and loving wife, a sincere friend, and truly good christian.

No. 65. Thomas Sowerby died 1696. The other part is defaced.

No. 66. Near this place are interred the remains of Susannah, the wife of Jonathan Wheatley of Ripon, and her three children, viz., Judith, Ann, and Jonathan; Susannah died the 29th Novr., 1781, aged 81 years; the above Jonathan Wheatley died the 8th April, 1795, aged 84.

No. 67. In affectionate remembrance of Ann, daughter of William and Ann Todd, late of Ripon, who died the 29th July, 1834, aged 33 years; the above named William Todd, officer of Excise, died at Manchester, June 2nd, 1801, aged 26 years.

No. 68. Sacred to the memory of Sarah, the wife of George Vant of this Town, who died the 9th day of July, 1825, aged 48 years.
