No. 22. Near this place are deposited the remaines of Mrs. Jane Squire, late of Bondgate in this county, widow and relict of Henry Squire, of the City of York, Dr. of Laws, by whom she had issue two daughters, Jane and Henrietta, who died unmarried, and one son Henry Squire, of Bondgate, aforesaid, Esq., Dr. of Laws and Barrister at Law. She died the 22 day of December, in the year of Our Lord 1734, in the 67 year of her age, to whose memory the said Henry, her son, caused this monument to be erected.

No. 23. Sacred to the memory of two affectionate brothers early removed, as it may be humbly hoped, to an eternal inheritance in heaven; Edward James Oxley born Dec. 22nd, 1826, died April 19th, 1837; Frederic William Oxley born August 3rd, 1824, died June 22nd, 1839. The beloved sons of Charles Oxley and Anne Margaret his wife, and grandsons of the very Rev. Robert Darley Waddilove, D.D., late Dean of this Cathedral. "Of such is the kingdom of God."

No. 24. Sacred to the memory of Mrs. Grace Staines, daughter of Thomas Staines, Esqr., of Thirsk, in the county of York, who departed this life the 28th day of June, 1771, aged 63 years.

No. 25. Sacred to the memory of William Charnock. Esqre., of Littlethorpe, in whom unaffected piety and the virtues that adorn a christian were eminently conspicuous. (He married Frances, the third daughter of Francis Maude, Esqre., of Leathley) and died on the 25th of January, 1833, aged 67 years; beloved, respected, and lamented. Frances, wife of the above, died 8th of March, 1837, aged 62 years.

No. 26. Here lieth the body of Reginald Graham Brady, who departed this life February 28th, 1759, aged 5 years.

No. 27. In memory of Marmaduke Hodgson, of Breekamoor, he departed this life the 13th day of May, 1786, aged 55 years; Ann, the wife of Marmaduke Hodgson, died January 26th, 1821, aged 79 years; also, Elizabeth Hodgson, daughter of the above, who died Feby. 26th, 1843, aged 72 years.

No. 28. In memory of George Coates, Esqre., of Bishopton, who died on the 6th of March, 1821, aged 61; also, of his son, George Coates, B.A. of University College, Oxford, who died 24th of April, 1824, aged 24 years.
